My oboes are faithful copies of existing 18th-century oboes, authentic in every detail. They play at the same low pitch as the originals.
Each oboe is made to order, turned by hand and made of boxwood (when not otherwise specified) finished with nitric-acid stain, with tenons lapped with string.
Reeds and accessories for oboes can be purchased at the time of delivery.
The "ivory" referred to is synthetic ivory and is priced accordingly.

TERMS:
- A 10% deposit is required at the time the order is placed, with the balance due at the time of delivery.
- All payments requested in U.S. Dollars. (For payment from foreign countries, payment requested in cheques or money orders on a U.S. bank.)
- Prices on this website are effective January 1, 2019 but are subject to change without notice.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders and return deposits. Time of delivery: 2-3 months.
